SOTH Inc. is a small software development company, with over 250 clients across Canada. We are located in Red Deer, Alberta. SOTH Inc. develops and markets Visual-Eyes®, a custom software package designed for Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. The ideal candidate will be flexible, dynamic and have a strong willingness to learn.

Technical Qualifications:
¬ Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7
¬ Graphical User Interface Design
¬ Object Oriented Programming (familiarity with Delphi or C++ Builder an asset)
¬ Web Development (familiarity with Flash, CSS, Java Script and HTML 5 an asset)
¬ SQL
¬ Fast Reports
¬ Familiar with hardware, network and printer troubleshooting
¬ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
¬ Knowledge of the optical industry, would be an asset.
Duties:
¬ Assist clients with hardware, software or operating system problems as they relate to our program.
¬ Assisting in the testing and debugging of software
¬ Gather information about typical problems and solutions
¬ Install and configure Visual-Eyes in clients’ office
¬ Design and Develop Websites and Web Services
¬ Graphical User Interface Design in Delphi
¬ SQL Database Design
¬ Implementation of regression suite testing
Although preference will be given to experienced candidates, highly motivated individuals with limited experience will also be considered.
